Gordon Wesley Holmes is a 5th generation born and raised San Franciscan. He resides in New York City and travels the high country of north Idaho, going on several expeditions throughout the year. Gordon is an accomplished actor in the performance arts in theatre, film and television. His work spans across the country, from San Francisco to New York City. A few of Gordon's notable on-stage performances include; Heartbeat to Baghdad, In The Belly of the Beast, Baal, Moon Of The Caribbees, A Few Good Men, Caucasian Chalk Circle, Days of Wine and Roses, Fortinbras, In the Boom Boom Room, Measure for Measure, Orphans, Romeo & Juliet, Waiting For Godot and Charles Bukowski's South of No North, an acclaimed NYC production housed in the Lincoln Center archives. Gordon appeared in Kevin Heelan's Distant Fires, which won the acclaimed Dramalogue Best Production, and Eugene O'Neill's Tales of the Sea, performed aboard a historic 18th century schooner ~ the C. A. Thayer in the San Francisco Bay. Gordon has made several commercial and TV appearances, including roles in Law & Order, Central Park West and Swift Justice. Gordon has starred in quite a few independent films, among them; The Interview, Today Will Be Yesterday Tomorrow, Not Once But Twice, Third Meridian, Captain Happy and A Severe Mercy. Gordon has worked with the reputable American Conservatory Theatre, Trinity Shakespeare Company, The Actors Theatre of San Francisco, David Livingston and Jean Shelton. He has performed stand-up comedy and had a stint as a radio disc jockey. Gordon has classical and contemporary training in stage combat, fight choreography, stunt work and broad sword and he is a natural talent at impersonations, voice-overs and dialects. Gordon writes stories for the stage and screen, with a screenplay currently optioned. Gordon Holmes is a member of SAG, AFTRA, AEA and a longstanding company member of the BAT Theatre Company. Gordon is coming out of a two year hiatus after several expeditions to the northwest.
